The Freshwater Invertebrate Biology Laboratory (FIBL), Department of Zoology, Ahmednagar College (Ahilyanagar, India) focuses on studying the diversity, distribution, ecology and taxonomy using integrative (morphology and molecular approach) .

We study the invertebrate fauna of aquatic habitats like temporary rock pools and disturbed/polluted habitats like rivers and ponds from the Northern Western Ghats and the semi -arid region.
